Resilient Families Collaborative provides trauma-informed, family-centered services designed to support safe parent-child connections, healthy parenting practices, and long-term stability for children and caregivers. Our approach blends clinical expertise, child development knowledge, and child protection best practices to promote relational healing and prioritize safety.
We work with court-involved and community-referred families across Colorado, offering supervised parenting time, parenting coaching, skill-building, consultation, and evaluation services delivered by professionals who are actively engaged in the systems and communities they serve.
Meet our Team!
Sarah Sandoval, MSW, is a Child Welfare Practice Coach and Trainer with over seven years of experience supporting children, families, and multidisciplinary teams to promote safety, accountability, and family reunification. In her current role, she partners with child protection caseworkers to strengthen skills in investigating child abuse and neglect and developing effective intervention strategies.
Sarah brings a strong foundation in attachment theory, adverse childhood experiences (ACEs), and trauma-informed practice, enhanced by multiple specialized trainings. Her background also includes work as a Probation Officer with juvenile and adult populations, providing insight into court processes, adolescent development, and balanced risk assessment.
She is a Licensed Addiction Counselor (LAC), Approved Domestic Violence Treatment Provider (ADVTP), a registered Social Worker Candidate (SWC) with the Colorado DORA, and pursuing advanced clinical licensure. She is trained in Trust-Based Relational Intervention® (TBRI), supporting an attachment-focused, trauma-responsive approach to family services.
